1. Introduction

Welcome to SoulChat AI (“we”, “us”, “our”, “Platform”, or “Service”).

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SoulChat AI website and services.

By accessing or using SoulChat AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

SoulChat AI is an online platform that allows users to chat with artificial intelligence (AI) companions for entertainment and casual conversation.

Key points:

  • All AI characters are clearly labeled as artificial intelligence.
  • The Platform is not a real-person dating, matchmaking, or social networking service.
  • AI companions cannot meet users offline and do not have real human emotions or personal lives.
  • Registration is optional. Guest users may chat without creating an account.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use SoulChat AI.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. User Accounts

  • Creating an account is optional.
  • If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use SoulChat AI only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Attempt to make AI companions pretend to be real humans
  • Generate, request, or share illegal content (including child sexual abuse material, terrorism-related content, or content promoting real-world violence)
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse the Platform or other users
  • Attempt to bypass safety filters or “jailbreak” the AI for prohibited topics
  • Use the Platform for scams, phishing, spam, or fraudulent activities
  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Impersonate SoulChat AI staff or any other person
  • Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of access.

6. AI Companions – Important Disclaimer

All characters on SoulChat AI are artificial intelligence systems.

  • They are not real people.
  • They do not possess real consciousness, emotions, or personal experiences.
  • Conversations with AI companions are generated by software and should be treated as entertainment only.
  • You should not rely on AI responses for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, mental health, or otherwise).
  • SoulChat AI is not a crisis support or emergency service.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on SoulChat AI (including text, design, logos, AI character names, bios, and software) is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written permission.
  • You retain ownership of any original content you submit (such as messages), but you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and process that content as needed to operate the Service.

8. Advertising

SoulChat AI may display advertisements, including through Google AdSense and other advertising partners.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that advertisements may appear. We try to keep ads non-intrusive. Please refer to our Ads Policy for more details.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your access to SoulChat AI at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms.

You may stop using the Platform and request account deletion at any time by following the process described on our Account Deletion page.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • AI responses will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for any purpose
  • Any defects will be corrected

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOULCHAT AI AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Platform
  • Any conduct or content of AI companions
  • Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
  • Any other matter related to the Service

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SoulChat AI, its operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of SoulChat AI shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
